My Bucket List

King Tutankhamun, or more commonly known as King Tut, was the youngest pharaoh of the egyption empire.  But what draws so much ateition to this younge pharaoh is the mysterious way he died and that he was so younge when it happened. The story of a younge king dieing, makes people think of there own mortality and that even in the best of there times or in the midst of their greatest triumph that even they can die. This understanding of mortality has pushed archolgists to understand why and how the younge pharaoh actully died not just as for the sake of history but as a need to honor the younge king and to acuratelly protray his life that has acheived imortalty through history.
Thanks to Dr. Hutan Ashrafian the mystorey may have been finally solved.  Ashrafian is a lecturer and surgeon at the Imperial College of London, and claims to have descovered the reason if Tut's early and mysterious demise. He says the awnser "lies in the art of the period". He reffers to the "highly feminine features" of the statues that dipicted King Tut, such as enlarged breasts. He claims that these are signs of a condition known as gynecomastia and that with historical and familial evidence, Tut died of temporal lobe epilepsy.
The evidence supporting his claims are acurate and highly support his claims. Thus this theroy of the younge king's death is highly possible, but there is no exact way to prove it. So maybe the mystory may never be truelly be solved but people will always try to disects what facts there are and information we have of the younge king out of the unquenchable thirst for knowledge. The story of the younge king dieing in his prime shall draw the attention of many for generations to come, because even in death Tutankhamun has magaed to acheive imortalty, the same thing that all of us humans strive for and wish to claim for our own.
